^ I could physically make a new set of silverware….however I have never melted metal in my life, and it sounds kind of dangerous.
I was thinking of bending metal spoons around a key ring like this….
I wish I could get them to bend farther up the handle. They always tend to melt right at the center. It would be much nicer if I could get a smaller loop farther up the handle. My concern is that the handle will get in the way of eating. I tried it out, and it didn’t seem to be a huge problem. I’m just worried that kids will shove these into their mouths farther than I do.
I found a paint at Michaels called Porcelaine 150 that is permanent, dishwasher safe, resistant to solvents and UV rays, water based, and non toxic that can be used on metal. I plan on painting the designs on the capes of super spoon and super fork onto the handles and the key rings for my set of utensils.
